Washing machine showing a code? We fix it at your home
An error code is the machine telling you a part has failed. Write it down, tell us when you call, and we will bring the likely part. We are a repair service. We come to your laundry and fix it.
Same day often available · 12 month warranty on our work · Price agreed before we start
What we usually find
The code points us to the fault. These are the ones we see most.
Drain codes
The machine cannot pump the water out. Usually a blocked or failed pump.
Fill codes
Water is not getting in fast enough. Usually taps, screens or the inlet valve.
Door codes
The door lock is not locking or not being detected. We replace the lock.
Unbalance codes
The load is uneven, or the suspension is worn if it happens every time.
Heater and motor codes
A part has failed a self test. We test and replace it.
What happens when we come out
You call or text
Tell us the brand, front or top loader, and what the machine is doing. We book a time that suits you.
We find the fault
The technician tests the machine in your laundry and tells you what is wrong in plain words.
You approve the price
You get the full price before we start. If it is not worth fixing, we tell you.
We fix it
Most repairs are done on the spot with parts from the van. Our work has a 12 month warranty.
Before you call
- Write down the code and the brand and model from the sticker around the door or on the back.
- Turn the machine off at the wall for a minute and try again.
Anything past these checks is a job for us. Please do not open the back or top of the machine, and never work on it while it is plugged in. Water and power do not mix, and a heavy drum can shift without warning.
Questions about this repair
Should I keep resetting it?
If the code comes back, the fault is still there. It is best to have it checked.
Do codes mean the same on every brand?
No. The same code can mean different things on LG, Samsung and Fisher & Paykel. Tell us the brand and model.
Do you fix LG and Samsung?
Yes, along with Fisher & Paykel, Electrolux, Bosch, Haier and most brands sold in Australia.
